You seem like a good friend to her, Keith. I can see that you are concerned about her, so I can assure you that I will not let anything bad happen to her. Unfortunately, I do not think I can do much for the hangover she will most likely have in the morning.

[He is reassured, but he knows that there are drugs involved as well. While Yao is assuring him, and is, for the most part, trustworthy... he has Marie's best interest at heart. He's a hero, after all... and he doesn't want her to wake up with a hangover on top of being angry about seeing him. Maybe he can just explain himself... or prove his care to her.]

I will be there to take her home. Please drink a lot of water so you do not have a headache in the morning, Mr. Yao.

Very well, I will see you later then. I will not leave until I see that she leaves safely with you and don't worry about me. I've only had one drink and I can say with certainty that I can hold my liquor well unlike some people I know from back home. [Specifically speaking, an Englishman with eyebrows that should be introduced to a razor.]

I would be more concerned about Marie. I should really try to persuade her not to order any more drinks and start giving her water.
