[Good evening, Route, tonight China can be found within the Burned Tower. He's stepping along the floorboards carefully, so they won't collapse under his weight. China's voice can be heard off camera.]

This is where the three Pokemon were resurrected by the legendary Ho-Oh, aru... I wonder where they are n--Wa!

[One of the boards collapses under China's foot with a loud noise, causing him to stumble.]

Oh... But isn't Ho-Oh supposed to return when it finds a pure-hearted trainer?

[He wasn't trying to mock anyone, he was only curious and that was clear in his voice.]

[He has to shrug there, though his expression sours.]

Perhaps that is what's lacking.

[Vanitas snorts at that, his expression remaining the same though his mouth quirks up on one side.] I'm not putting myself down, it just makes sense with what I am.

And what would that be exactly?

[His tone changes slightly.]

So, you're basically the embodiment of pure darkness?

[He doesn't sound too worried, a little nervous maybe, but he's not stuttering.]

[The nervousness would be easier pick up on if he still had his powers, but he still heard just a little twinge.]

Well, then that makes us both embodiments of something, aru.

[He has to quirk his eyebrow up at that.] Is that so? What are you then?

I'm the embodiment of a country in my world known as China.

[It doesn't sound all that far-fetched to a guy who world hopped and made little monsters out of his emotions for a good four years.]

That's a first I've ever heard of. [Not that he knows of embodiments of anything other than himself being of darkness and the seven Princesses of Light.]

Does being that give you any special abilities?

I'm not the only one here. There's a couple more of us here in Johto, aru.

Well, it does allow me to live for such a long time and it heightens my natural abilities. I've been living for over four thousand years, aru.

[Vanitas lifts his eyebrow at that in a question, curious.] Who else is here? [Though give him a minute, his first question is being totally sidetracked with an honestly surprised look at FOUR THOUSAND YEARS. His expression darkening, he grouches out,]

I've been living like this for five years now. [Physically, fifteenish. Mentally, fiveish.]

There's me, France, England, Prussia, South Italy, Prussia, and the Netherlands. There used to be more of us, including my two brothers, but they went home a long time ago, aru.

I've been looking like this for... well, a long time. I can still remember those days where I had a child's body for over one hundred years, aru.

Those are all those.. country names then. That's quite a handful. [Hm. He'll have to keep the names in mind, just to see how they are as well.]

Heh.. [He can't help a bit of dry humor, looking down at himself.] This body wasn't made to last long.

[China smiles a little.]

If only you could see all the other countries back in my world, aru. We only have a fraction of the Nations here in Johto.

It's not just my body that plays a part in my long existence. Even Nations can die if they don't make the right decisions, aru. I've been very fortunate.
